This skilfully written and illustrated graphic novel, set in an imaginary west coast landscape, will captivate middle grade readers, offering both breathtaking adventures and an intriguing undertow. One of them, Kay, has a different agenda that will take them off their planned route. The story explores themes of friendship, teamwork, conflict and responsibility.
